The work that we do would be impossible without the support of our communities. Your investment in our programs and services makes a real difference. There are several ways that you can support our organization.
ways to give
Our organization has a robust and dynamic team of volunteers that we are always looking to grow. Our goal is to match your skills, strengths, and interests with the needs of survivors and our agency. Depending upon your interest and comfort level, you can choose between working directly with survivors in certain capacities or do more behind-the-scenes (but just as critical) work.
We are always looking for new and creative ways for volunteers to get involved but some examples of volunteer opportunities include: working in the thrift store, assisting with awareness month outreach activities, providing childcare, providing transportation, moving furniture, etc.
If you are interested in learning more about agency needs and volunteer opportunities, please contact our volunteer coordinator, Natalie Francis at email@example.com or (989)356-2560 ext. 202.
*A criminal background check is required for any part-time or full-time volunteer or paid position.*
The needs of survivors, and therefore of our agency, are constantly changing. However, our wish list contains a list of needs that arise most often. Donations can be dropped off at any of our locations. Alternatively, the option to order directly from Amazon and have it shipped to our headquarters will be coming soon.
You can also donate items to our thrift store – Seconds on Third. Proceeds from items sold at the store will go into our budget as unrestricted funds. Unrestricted funds allow us to use those funds to best meet the needs of survivors as they come along.
The need in our communities is great. Even a small donation can make a HUGE difference in the lives of survivors and their families.
When you choose to donate your hard-earned money to Hope Shores Alliance, you can be sure that your money is directly benefiting those most in need. Whether you choose to gift us with a direct monetary gifts or donations to our endowment fund, your donation helps foster the sustainability of the organization and ensures that survivors and their families will have access to the resources, support, and services they need for a long time to come.
At Hope shores Alliance, we believe in being good stewards of your donations which is why a large percentage of our budget goes directly to programs and direct services. Check out our Annual Report for more information.
Sexual and domestic violence permeates throughout our communities and negatively impacts us in ways that we don’t even recognize. Your gift would play an important role in healing that negative impact and help move our community one step closer to who we want to be.
By contributing via PayPal, you can support our short-term needs in an unrestricted way.
